Your body has an inbuilt ability to heal itself. The educated, non-invasive Biodynamic Craniosacral touch tunes into your inner resources and supports this healing ability.

When we are formed as embryos there’s an original blueprint for the way each part of our body will be shaped and formed. We are all unique. Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy helps the body return to its original blueprint, releasing a flood of energy.

Unlike other kinds of bodywork, it does not take a “find and fix” approach. In the same way that your body knows how to heal a cut on your finger, your body knows how to return to a state of health. It recognises the locations of strain, restriction or imbalance (including neurochemical) that are contributing to the pain and knows how to relieve them.

 

The trained touch of a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist takes a listening, reflective approach that notices what your body sees as the priority and follows that wisdom.

Your Session

I begin by lightly touching at the feet to 'listen' to what's going on in your body's tissues, nervous system and energy field. Feeling into your unique craniosacral rhythm I will work with the health that is always present in your body. I will move my hands, with your permission, to the part of your body that seems to need extra resources to work through its difficulty. By following the priorities of your system in this way, each session is unique.

 
The gentle Biodynamic Craniosacral touch feels the movement of fluids, tissues and energy within your body. These movements are meant to be rhythmic like a dance. Instead, the movement may be jerky or blocked or strained. Your body responds to this touch in its own way and pace, releasing tension that has been created to accommodate physical and nonphysical injuries. Throughout your session you are an active participant working towards developing your own body awareness.


Clients report increased energy, a sense of peace, greater resilience, mental clarity and focus, as well as relief of symptoms.
